Well, good
morning world! Today I woke up slightly grumpy and frumpy and crawled out of
bed to face the new day. I must admit, it’s a beautiful day here
in Helsinki. To not take a stroll outside would
be a crime :)
But anyway,
I’m here to share my breakfast with you. See, I’m not a breakfast kind of
person. For many years of my life, I didn’t even eat breakfast! Terrible, I
know. But I’ve just found it hard to find the perfect breakfast. Something I
can jump out of bed and be excited about having. But after coming to Finland, I seem to have found something I
like and something healthy and filling, so that my tummy won’t be growling
until lunch time! Thus, I must share it with you.
Today’s
breakfast consists of:
Oatmeal
Non-fat
milk
Cinnamon
A dollop of
Apple Jam
And of
course, Citrus Green Tea
But really, you can add anything you like to Oatmeal. Berries, nuts, yoghurt, honey...go crazy with it!

DeleteOatmeal is my ultimate favorite breakfast too! I love to add banana slices into it at the end of cooking. They turn soft and mushy and delicious. Cinnamon is great too and pecan nuts. Thanks for the info on health benefits, makes me even happier to eat it :) - Noora
